My Journey with Discord Applications: A Personal Story

Introduction

I've recently had some negative experiences with a whole chain of advertisement servers called the Nexus Network. I simply wanted to know how things work in other servers, applying for a position there to gain some more experience in the field. This was both a good and bad choice to do.

What Did I Apply For?

I applied in 2 different servers, coincidentally both in this Nexus Network.

Both of these had the same application questions and verified progress. You did have 24 to complete this whole progress for each server, which was very needed since the verification took me alone 2 whole hours and still I did not get an answer if I was accepted or not. By Starynight Advertising I gave up mid-way, knowing that if I continued, I would be stuck behind my computer for the whole day.

How Did It End?

Not exactly the good way. I sent both the same message with a couple of changes. By StaryNight Advertising I was directly banned from the server, no negotiation or anything. Just click and do it. By Losky Promotion I haven't received an answer yet since most of the staff there are offline now. 

Conclusion

I get it that people want their server to grow big and all such, wanting to reach the top of the ladder and get all the perks that they can get, but this long of a process isn't needed. You need to join this server, and then that server, go through yet another verification process. I get it if you would say that I picked some high roles. But all of those for a 300-ish member server??

My apologies but if it takes me 2 days to complete a whole process and get treated like I'm worth nothing by some egoistic 20-year-old, I don't think I'll ever come in those servers or even try to get in contact with them anymore.

Update

I'm staying in Losky Promotion as Chief Operations Officer under lowered conditions. I have been unbanned from StaryNight Promotions but have no interest anymore in applying again.
